The article reports that the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been attracting more businesses who want to establish or expand their presence in the Middle East. Nokia will open a regional distribution hub in the city. The city boasts a number of advantages for foreign investors, including 100 percent foreign ownership, without any need for local partnership. Aside from Nokia, companies such as Black & Decker, Xerox, and Procter & Gamble also use the Jebel Ali Free Zone. |
