This article announces the plan of ONGC Petro-Additions (Opal) to award contracts for six separate packages that form part of a petrochemical project at the Petroleum, Chemical, and Petrochemical Investment Region in the Dahej Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Gujarat, India. One of the projects included in the contracts is a high-density polythylene (HDPE) plant. A turnkey contract has been awarded by Opal to a consortium of Samsung Engineering and Linde to build an olefins plant at the petrochemical complex |
