The article presents news briefs related to international relations. The Congo authorities have barred Ugandan timber dealers from entering the country for alleged smuggling. In Kenya, plans for a free trade zone are almost complete and will be operational by the end of 2006, according to managing director of the Kenya Ports Authority Brown Ondego. Nigerian state governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, who is facing trial in Great Britain for handling stolen funds, has skipped bail after reportedly dressing as a woman to evade police. |
