Abstract: The article offers information on the trade policy of Argentina. It states that the protectionist trade measures such as export bans, taxes and non-automatic licensing requirements included in the country's trade policy guidelines are preventing commercial activity to prosper. It talks about the leading exports of the country such as meats, chemicals, fresh fruits, and unprocessed petroleum. Tariff and import taxes, restrictions on imports, export taxes, and free-trade zones (FTZ) are also discussed
